Naomi Campbell, born in England, United Kingdom on 22nd May 1970, is an iconic supermodel and sometime actress, singer and author. Her modelling career started as a catwalk model, but she was quickly picked up for various high-profile advertsing campaigns. The highpoint of her career was in the early 1990s, when she was part of the two major supermodelling powerhouses. Biography Naomi Campbell has proved that her talents reach far beyond the realm of being a supermodel. She has channelled her interests and talents into a wide range of creative ventures including singing, writing and acting. Naomi Campbell has brought her charisma to the world of television and film acting alongside international stars, including appearances in films by Michelangelo Antonioni, Steve DiMarco and Spike Lee.

As a writer, Naomi Campbell co-authored a best selling novel, Swan. Naomi Campbell has drawn international attention to her fundraising efforts on many different projects including the Nelson Mandela children’s fund, Fidel Castro’s Cuban Children’s Fund, joined the Dalai Lama in fund raising efforts through UNESCO to build kindergartens for poor communities worldwide. She was to face of the first Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign in 1996.
